Acrylic painting on canvas 22”x28”

Honoring the three sisters. Planting el maiz (the corn), el frijol (the beam), y la calabaza (the squash) together is a native agricultural tradition. It’s been around for many years. They work together to grow stronger, more nutritious, and more abundant in fruit.

This concept was planted in my heart as I felt the connection that we have to the land and its fruit.
